My three favorite teen chefs were honored in Atlanta at the 2020 National Black Chefs Association event for their amazing accomplishments as CEO’s over the weekend. For the record, I have personally tasted treats from all of these pastry princesses and I have to say, they are the absolute most AMAZING!
Chef Gabrielle of Glorious Pastries by Gabrielle in Maryland is 14, Chef Ashala of Cook Me Up A Notchin Atlanta, Georgia is 16 (go bestie, go bestie!) and Chef Simone of Goddess Food Factory in Jacksonville, Florida is 14. Did I mention all three are also authors? And two have subscription boxes? They are also STEAM advocates who host workshops and events to teach kids the science behind baking.
Arkeria Wright, mom of Ashala captured this shot of the three teen pastry princesses of the event and we couldn’t help but love the #blackgirlmagic they are serving for #blackhistorymonth
Ashala @cookmeupanotch posted this photo with the caption, “This 23rd day in Black History, we the #STEAMsisters and #PastryPrincesses earned/received awards from @nationalblackchefassociation for not only our excellence in the field of culinary arts but our continuous work in our communities! We truly inspire to inspire others to go for their #dreams with everything in them! #pastryprincessofAtlanta 💙💙💙💙💙
Just a little #blackgirlmagic to grace your timeline!!! 💖💙💖 @gloriouspastries1 @goddessfoodjax”
So please, follow all of them and be sure to watch out for more on these amazing ladies!
